All these features are now part of the airport’s ‘Jewel’ experience, which also boast over 280 restaurants and shops – which, may leave you hoping that your flight is delayed. There will even be the YOTELAir Singapore Changi Airport, a 130-room hotel where you can charge up during your travels. It’s pretty clear to comprehend why this airport presently sits at the top of the list.

The other airports on the World’s Best list consist of Tokyo Haneda which slid in second, followed by South Korea’s Seoul Incheon and fourth was Doha Hamad in Doha, Qatar. Placed fifth was Hong Kong, with Munich landing at sixth and chum ol’ London Heathrow ranking in seventh place in the list. Ranked fourteenth was Amsterdam Schiphol whilst Barcelona dropped in at number 43.

Manchester turned up with no placement but Halifax’s airport was deemed the 90th best airport on planet Earth, which is still a bit impressive. There was too awards distributed for the World’s Cleanest Airports – Topping the list was Tokyo Haneda with Centrair Nagoya in Japan slamming in second. Third is Singapore Changi and coming is forth is Seoul Incheon. Naturally, there were no United Kingdom airports in the top 10 list for World’s Cleanest.
