Most people saw the Celine Dion death hoax via a malicious Facebook app. Once a few people saw the scam, news of Dion’s “death” started circulating on Twitter.
Someone plz confirm if Celine Dion is dead or not. If she is I may have to take a few weeks off of school.

A few news story also circulated claiming that the singer perished in a car crash.
One of the scams read: “Investigators have told reporters that Celine Dion lost control while driving a friend’s vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing her instantly. The vehicle was believed to have been traveling at approximately 95 miles per hour in a 55mph zone at the time of the accident.”
Another version of the story claimed that Celine Dion died in a plane crash.
If you’ve been on the internet before you’ve probably seen a death hoax or two. For some reason, trolls love to kill off celebrities and the internet makes it way too easy for them to do so. If you’ve noticed that most of these death hoaxes look pretty similar it’s because they come from a death hoax generator.
You plug in a name and a cause of death and the generator spits out a fake news story. Then, all you have to do is share it on Facebook or Twitter and wait for the internet to go crazy.
Celine Dion hasn’t responded to the death hoax yet but she’s clearly alive and well. That is, unless some sort of body double has taken over singing duties….
