Bryan Singer recently teased what he described as a “pivotal meeting” from his upcoming superhero epic X-Men: Days of Future Past on Twitter.

Much like fellow director Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man 2), Singer has been keeping everyone up-to-date with what’s happening on the set of the next installment of the X-Men franchise.

The latest image features a scene that takes place in the Oval Office during the 70s. President Richard Nixon is in attendance for what Singer said would be a significant event in the story. Beyond that, very few details about the scene are available at the moment.

The Usual Suspects director also posted an image with the caption, “Good Morning Vietnam!” You can find that picture embedded below as well.

Bryan Singer previously released several images featuring characters from X-Men: Days of Future Past. The director unveiled the first look at Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique on his Twitter account. Other sneak peeks include Ellen Page, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, and Shawn Ashmore as Iceman.

The upcoming superhero flick sports an amazing cast of talented players. In addition to the aforementioned names, the next X-Men flick stars Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Anna Paquin, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Evan Peters, and Boo Boo Stewart.

Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to hit theaters on July 18, 2014. If you aren’t following the director on Twitter, then you probably should.
