Banksy invaded a few new territories this week. The elusive graffiti artist took up residency in New York City this week for a month long art installment around Manhattan. He also set up a new website, Twitter account, and Instagram account so non-New Yorkers could check out his latest creations.
New York – you’re just my type

Well, probably. The accounts hasn’t been verified yet but verification isn’t really something that Banksy is into. You’re just going to have to take a leap of faith on this one and trust that @BanksyNY is really the graffiti artist. And hey, if it’s not, it’s still a good place to see the latest pieces in New York.
Banksy has only been working in New York for two days and his art has already been vandalized. This could be a long month for the street artist.
this is why we can’t have nice things… #banksy#banksynypic.twitter.com/5BikFHxesz — Austin Mayer (@amayer_) October 2, 2013
Banksy has also been using the hashtag #banksyNY to get the word out about each new piece.
well this should be entertaining – lets see what happens
