Posted on July 8 by Scripps Oceanography, this video of an anchovy aggregation is gaining some serious internet attention.
Located in La Jolla, California, the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego took amazing footage at the pier and underwater by Scripps graduate students Julia Fiedler, Sean Crosby, and Bonnie Ludka. [YouTube description]
At first glance, the water looks dirty or as if something spilled in that area. As the video continues, viewers notice how the black “material” changes as the students swim towards it. Just wait until the underwater footage.
Only online for a few days, this video has gained over 3 million views. You can see why.
Rather serene footage, making one cool video!
