There are rare times celebrity actors and actresses wow us off the big screen. This time, Amy Adams selfless act wins. She is the talk of Facebook and Twitter right now. The Oscar-nominated actress was able to make a soldier’s plane ride to Los Angeles very comfortable.
Before her flight took off from Detroit, Adams noticed the soldier waiting at the same gate and privately asked to switch seats, putting the actress in coach. Jemele Hill, co-host of ESPN2’s “Numbers Never Lie,” tweeted about Adam’s act of kindness making her good deed get nationwide attention. Hill told ABC News, “I noticed Ms. Adams was in first class and as I was getting seated, I saw the flight attendant guide the soldier to Ms. Adams’ seat. She was no longer in it, but it was pretty clear that she’d given up her seat for him.”
Just saw actress Amy Adams do something incredibly classy. She gave her 1st class seat to an American soldier. I'm an even bigger fan now.

Apparently Adams met with the soldier privately mid-flight by the cockpit saying her father was in the U.S. military.
Hill summarizes this generous act perfectly, “Ms. Adams did it so quietly and quickly that it speaks to her character. And somebody in coach just got a helluva seatmate!”
