The Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary was a three and a half hour episode that will be talked about for awhile. The jokes, sketches, and pre-taped bits got laughs, smiles, and that perfect amount of nostalgia. Even Betty White and Bradley Cooper making out.

Of course, where there is an SNL sketch, there are the musical guests. The SNL 40 anniversary special had live performances from Paul Simon, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, and Kanye West. There were plenty of singing sketches and shorts featuring Justin Timberlake, Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg, and Adam Sandler.

Just like every other Saturday Night Live start of an episode, there is a monologue. Justin Timerlake and Jimmy Fallon started things off with this mixed musical performance.
