The suicide of Gia Allemand, former Bachelor contestant and girlfriend of NBA star Ryan Anderson, prompted first best wishes and prayers and then mourning among reality stars on Twitter.
Gia Allemand was just 29 when she was hospitalized Monday for an unspecified “medical event.”
It quickly became apparent via Twitter than Allemand was ailing seriously, and the Bachelor and Bachelor Pad contestant was in the thoughts and prayers of her former co-stars.
Jake Pavelka, alongside whom Allemand starred, was stricken and horrified to learn of Allemand’s sudden hospitalization and death Wednesday. In a series of tweets, he lamented:

After it was reported that Gia Allemand had passed, Pavelka said:
