Google Maps has taken distance tracking to a new level with the ability to calculate travel by Loch Ness Monster.
The feature, naturally, is only available for routes traversing the home of Nessie: Loch Ness in Northern Scotland.
An example search from Fort Augustus to Urghart Castle shows that after a short walk, transport across the Loch, and another short walk delivers a trip of 28 minutes.
That’s four minutes quicker than using public transport.
