Twitter Restores @N Username Reportedly Worth $50,000 To Owner

Twitter deals with thousands of hacking attempts on a daily basis, and one attempt that occurred last month left the owner of username @N high and dry.

Owned by Naoki Hiroshima, he lost the Twitter account after a hacker got access to his websites through GoDaddy, and threatened to delete all data if he wasn’t given access to the @N Twitter account.

According to Hiroshima, he was once offered $50,000 for the username, and yesterday afternoon shared some good news:

It seems that Twitter’s investigation fared well for Hiroshima, and the buzz surrounding the Twitter account likely helped to raise its value even more.
