Hey Russia, Google has a bone to pick with you over your anti-gay athletes stance. The social giant this week is displaying a rainbow themed doodle that links directly to the Olympic charter. If you are unfamiliar with the Olympic charter it directly states the following:
“The practice of sport is a human right. Every individual must have the possibility of practicing sport, without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play.” –Olympic Charter
While gay athletes are still allowed to take part in the 2014 Sochi Olympics, visitors in public are not allowed to show their support for gays and lesbians.
Twitter users quickly picked up on the Anti-Russian Google Doodle and began tweeting their praise en masse:

Google Doodle’s usually offer insight into historical events or national holidays. However, when the company takes on a big social stance the internet listens.
Do you support the Google Doodle and its anti-Russian gay laws attack?
