Twitter is officially a public company after its IPO hit the New York Stock Exchange, and the first shares opened at $45.10, which is up from a set share price of $26.

At that price, Twitter is valued at around $25 billion, and its stock price is currently holding above $45.
According to real-time data from the NYSE, the social network hit a high of $50.09 per share.
