The Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrison will be participating in a first-of-its-kind digital book signing via a live Google+ Hangout at Google’s New York offices on Wednesday.
Toni Morrison is the acclaimed author of ten novels, including The Bluest Eye (1970) and Home (2012). She’s the recipient of the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Pulitzer Prize, and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1993.
Morrison will be discussing her latest novel, Home, with a select group of fans, and chatting with book clubs around the country. If you’re interested in participating in the event, further details can be found at the official Google+ page.
The Hangout is scheduled to livestream on Google+ and YouTube at 3 pm EST on February 27, 2013.
The live Hangout celebrates the paperback release of Home and the culmination of Black History Month. This event is the very first nation-wide event that Toni Morrison has done with book clubs, according to Publishers Weekly.
