I don’t believe Tim Cook is “stupid” enough to not be aware of the details of the photo he tweeted, but to welcome the weekend, he treated social media to a tidbit: computers on the Mac production line in Austin run on Windows.
Looking at the photo he tweeted, it is pretty clear what OS the machines are running on.

What isn’t clear is why they are running on Windows. Then again, couldn’t this be a good thing? Can’t this mean that multi-platforms are beneficial (or maybe even necessary) to run an enterprise?
Who knows?
One thing is clear: Tim Cook hasn’t taken down that tweet. Either he doesn’t care, or the Apple PR machine says let it stay. Which is which, do you think?
