Taco Bell rolled out its highly anticipated breakfast menu nationwide today, and it includes such innovative eats as the waffle taco.
Forget McDonald’s. Goodbye, Dunkin’ Donuts. Why eat a croissan’wich or whatever fancy-named breakfast contraption when you can enjoy the brilliance of a folded waffle filled with egg and sausage?
If you weren’t able to partake in the nationwide fun today, let this closeup remind you of what you missed out on:
The “special sauce” is maple syrup, and here’s what Twitter users had to say about the new breakfast revolution:

I wonder how quickly I'll get diarrhea if I eat Taco Bell breakfast. I just don't think I'm that brave honestly.

Taco Bell CEO Brian Niccol took part in a Reddit AMA to answer questions, and talk about the new breakfast menu.
Among the many responses, Niccol appeared to have fun pretending he didn’t know what 4/20 was:
Okay, maybe you’re not a fan of the idea of a waffle taco at the world’s easiest to make fun of fast food chain, but maybe a fan of delicious sugar water Mountain Dew.
Well, for anyone who has ever tried Baja Blast available only at Taco Bell, Niccol offers a glimmer of hope:
Will you be giving the waffle taco a try? If you’ve already made a breakfast run to Taco Bell, let us know what you thought in the comments below.
