It’s time. Sharknado 2: The Second One premieres tonight at 8/9 central on SyFy.
Tara Reid, Ian Ziering, and that giant tornado that spits out man eating sharks will return to the SyFy Channel tonight for another ridiculous movie.

Sharknado was a surprise hit last year and that means that director Anthony Ferrante probably had a bigger budget for Sharknado 2: The Second One. Does that mean that this movie might be, like, good. Like good good. Like plausible and realistic and emotional and powerful?
Nope, it’s going to be just as bad as the first.
Ziering said: “You know what to expect. It’s sharks and tornadoes. It’s a similar formula (to ‘Sharknado’) but a different experience.”
Screenwriter Thunder Levin said that he had a difficult time writing the sequel. Most people say that they loved the first movie because it was “so bad that it was good.” How do you write that?
Levin said: “It’s tricky because… you keep hearing the reason the first one was successful was because it was so bad it was good. I’ve never quite bought into that, but you worry if you make it too good, no one will like it!”
Don’t worry, Levin. This does not look “too good.”
Are you excited for Sharknado 2: The Second One.
