You know, sometimes when you hire reindeer for a special event, you got to keep them entertained, or else they might get bored. Like this guy did.
Bjorn the reindeer was up for a special booking at a local Tesco Christmas event, when he decided it was time to go for a walk. And go for a walk he did.

The townsfolk of sleepy Nottingham got caught in this festive whirlwind. What was this deer doing out in the open? where was it heading? Was Santa on break? Did he have one pint too many to not notice Bjorn’s disappearance?
Quite the latter, actually. Bjorn was one of a pair, along with a Santa Claus, who Tesco shoppers could have their photos taken with. As Bjorn was led back to his pen, he broke free and ran like the wind. Perhaps he wanted to take in the local scenery one last time before heading back?
“I was putting some Christmas cards up in the window and just saw it come charging down the street, then I saw a group of people following it,” local resident Gemma Green told the Nottingham Post. “My partner was out walking the dog and he had to move out the way because it came charging past him.”
“It was quite strange. It’s like the scene from Arthur Christmas where Santa loses his reindeer. I thought I was seeing things at first.
Eventually Bjorn was found and returned to his handlers. Despite traffic getting disrupted and the local residents getting a little bit of excitement from the ruckus, we trust that Bjorn enjoyed his short jaunt around town. It’s going to be a long, long night on Christmas eve, after all.
