Rob Dyer Leaves Zynga As Company Shakeup Continues

Rob Dyer Leaves Zynga

Rob Dyer, head of the Zynga Partners program has quit the company he joined in November 2011.

Dyer was responsible for cultivating partnerships with external development teams. Dyer was also in control of launching titles, monetizing games, and marketing new releases.

Dyer is just one of a handful of Zynga executives who have left the company in recent months. Yesterday Zynga China lost general manager Andy Tian.

Along with executive departures Zynga has closed several of its studios and shuttered some of its less popular online games.

Zynga will have big shoes to fill as Dyer was responsible for creating a better social interaction between games while assisting third-party developers when launching new releases.

Before he joined the team at Zynga he worked for Sony Computer Entertainment American where he managed external relations with developers and publishers.
