The return of River Monsters Sunday evening had Twitter talking with host Jeremy Wade tracking down a killer Amazon fish.
The show, returning for its six seasons, features host Jeremy Wade traveling the world chasing “monster” fish, including monster sized fish and fish that simply act like monsters.
The new episode featured Wade on the case of the capsizing of the riverboat Sobral Santos II in 1981, which is believed to have been capsized by a fish.
River Monsters peaked strongly on Twitter Sunday evening, charting in the top ten.
Fans loved the return of the show, and the episode certainly had them talking.
#RiverMonsters After you've caught all of the "river monsters" out there, can we look forward to Jeremy Wade's Ocean Monsters??!!
