Mortal Kombat X has officially been announced.
Rumors about the new Mortal Kombat game have been circulating for months but Ed Boon, the co-creator of the series, made it official today with one simple message on Twitter.
The name of the game is “Mortal Kombat X”

Boone let the excitement build for a few hours and then he posted the first official trailer for Mortal Kombat X. You can watch the trailer below.
The trailer went viral and “Mortal Kombat X” started trending worldwide on Twitter.

The new game will make it’s first big appearance at E3 in Los Angeles next week. It will be released sometime in 2015 for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, XBox 360, XBox One and PC.
