Panos Panay, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Surface division, invented a new word today to describe the Surface Pro 3’s abilities. Lapability, as defined by Microsoft, means “the ability to get things comfortable done from your lap with the Microsoft #SurfacePro3.

Panay unveiled the new tablet today at an event in New York.
Panay said “This is the tablet that can replace your laptop … Removing that barrier to technology is critical to making it great.”
