Mention, a media monitoring service touted as “Google Alerts on Steroids,” has announced a partnership with social sharing service Buffer.
Users have been able to reply to, retweet or share a mention, and starting today, can schedule mentions to be shared through their Buffer account.
Here’s how to get started:
- From the Mention dashboard, select “Social accounts” on the left-hand side.
- Click “Add A New Social Account,” and choose Buffer.
- In a few quick and easy steps, your Buffer account will now be integrated.
When viewing a new mention, to share it to Buffer, simply click the “React” tab, and scroll down to where it says “Add to Buffer.”
A familiar window will pop-up allowing you to choose which social media accounts to share it to, and the ability to schedule it.
From Mention CEO and Co-Founder Edouard de la Jonquière:
The first step for us was to become the most powerful platform for everyone to get alerted when their name, their company or competitor’s name – or even broader subjects, are being mentioned on the web. The next natural step is to help them react and share these mentions. By integrating the best service to do this, Buffer, we’re pushing our platform forward.
Last week, Buffer announced its “For Business” tool which supports teams up to 25 people, and 150 connected social media accounts.
