Many celebrities took to Twitter last night to voice their disappointment with the Ferguson decision. Macklemore took to the streets.
The “Thrift Shop” singer was spotted last night in Seattle marching with a group of protesters.

Macklemore sent out two Tweets before hitting the streets after it was announced that a grand jury would not indict Darren Wilson for killing Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.
RT @jsmooth995: The fundamental danger of a non-indictment is not more riots, it is more Darren Wilsons.

The system that instills & protects white supremacy wins again. Humanity loses…No justice. I pray for Mike Brown & his family. So sad.

Of course, Mackelmore wasn’t the only musician upset with the decision last night. Killer Mike, who performed in St. Louis last night, gave an emotional speech to the crowd.
The singer said: “You kicked me on my ass today, because I have a 20-year-old son and a 12-year-old son, and I’m so afraid for them today.”
Photos of Macklemore at a protest may grab the internet’s attention but this situation in Ferguson, and around the country, can’t be summed up by celebrity quotes.
But since that’s the topic of this article, let’s end with something from Macklemore: “Solidarity. It’s not about me. It’s about Mike Brown.”
