Lieke Martens (born 16 December 1992) is a Dutch Footballer. She is famous for being a midfielder for Barcelona and the Netherlands women’s national team.
Lieke Martens Biography
The Dutch faced England in the semifinals, and despite Martens’ conversion of her penalty, England won and advanced to the final. Martens finished the competition with a four-goal tie with Turid Knaak of Germany. In August 2011, she made her senior national team debut against China in a friendly match. Around 2012, Martens established himself as a regular starter for the national team.

Biography of Lieke Martens
Martens was named to the Netherlands’ qualification squad for the 2016 Olympics. She was unable to compete in the tournament, however, after being diagnosed with a concussion and forced to leave camp.
She is playing now the 2021 Tokyo Olympics as a forward for the Netherland women’s national football team. Lieke Martens enters the tournament fresh off a domestic treble with FC Barcelona in Spain.
