Dwyane Wade celebrate his 32nd birthday this week but it may have not been a happy one. His friend and teammate, LeBron James, announced that he was leaving Miami.

Well, not really. The King sent Wade a birthday message on Instagram this week and NBA fans have been trying to decode it in order to find the answer to James’ future.

LeBron can opt out of his contract at the end of this season and several analysts are speculating that James will move on to greener pastures in search of a few more championship rings. The reigning MVP hasn’t made any announcements yet but he did hint at his future in his birthday message to Wade.

James writes: “No matter what happens in the future we stuck together like brothers for life.”

LeBron said that he wasn’t going to address next year until the end of this season. And when the King does make an announcement, we should expect it to be packaged up with some bells and whistles.

So is LeBron James leaving Miami? We’ll find out in a few months. For now, the King just wants to wish his buddy a happy birthday.

James writes: Happy Bday to my running mate, homie, brother, and most of all straight up friend! The friendship we’ve created our rookie year at pre draft camp was pure and that’s why we stuck together from that point on! Obviously didn’t know we would eventually become teammates and do the things we’ve done so far. I came to Miami for 2 reasons. To play with U and to win championships and I can’t thank u enough for the sacrifice you’ve made since I arrived homie! No matter what happens in the future we stuck together like brothers for life. And no matter what they say, u still a BAD Mutha-Shut-Yo-Mouth out there on that court! @dwyanewade. Oh almost forgot u old as dirt! Boy you look 40. Hahaha! #TreyBallBDay #YouASuckaOnYoBDayFollow
