Professional basketball players are adored by millions. Of course, they are hated by millions more. Several NBA stars including Chris Paul, Paul George, and Jeremy Lin stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Kimmel for a special NBA edition of Celebrity Mean Tweets over the weekend.
Celebrity Mean Tweets typically features movie stars but since the NBA Finals were on this weekend (The San Antonio Spurs CRUSHED the Miami Heat to win their fifth title) the comedian invited some NBA friends to participate in the hilarious sketch.
NBA players are used to getting booed by opposing fans but some of these Mean Tweets were, well, really mean.
Amare Stoudemire looks homeless? Stephen Curry has “pubey” facial hair? Dikembe Mutombo sounds like cookie monster? OK, that one is just plain funny.
This is the second time that Jimmy Kimmel has done an NBA edition of celebrity mean tweets. You can watch the first clip below.
Lebron James wasn’t Jimmy Kimmel last night but he didn’t exactly escape the mean tweets. The Lebron haters were out in full force last night on Twitter.
The LeBron slander is off the charts today

Lebron fans want to give him all the glory when he wins, yet blame it all on his teammates when he loses. Some things never change.
