Harvick and his wife, DeLana, tweeted photos of the fire department at their house, sending out their thanks to the department. The fire happened early Wednesday morning, and DeLana and Kevin both tweeted out photos around 2:00 am local time, saying:

Later on, DeLana added:
Thank you all for your concern. We were very lucky!!! Stuff can be replaced, but people can’t. I’ve got the only things that matter to me… — DeLana Harvick (@DeLanaHarvick) November 27, 2013
Harvick’s racing team, Kevin Harvick Inc., also released a statement about the Harvicks’ fire, writing:
“Last night the local fire department was called to the Harvick’s house where a fire started in the basement in the early morning hours. There was structural damage within the area. Keven DeLana and Keelan were not injured. Thank you all for the outpouring of concern.”
Keelan is the couple’s one-year-old son. There was no word on the cause of the fire.
