One of the most annoying aspects of Facebook for many users is the fact that the web platform is constantly changing. From privacy settings being reset to basic Facebook Wall’s becoming Timelines, there is never a lack of stuff to complain about.
The team at ExtremelyDecentFilms realized that sudden changes in real-life would probably go over just as badly.
To prove their point the EDF team created a situation in which Facebook updates a users house to be more “efficient” while providing them with what Facebook says they really want.
Watch the Facebook house update video for a good laugh:
My favorite part is definitely the “just let me know when you are ready to move on” dialog. When Facebook switched over to Open Graph Search I couldn’t remove the tour for nearly a month, despite going through every painstaking step that Facebook forced upon me.
The video in my opinion should have poked even more fun at Facebook’s ever increasing number of ads.
Overall a great view for anyone who becomes frustrated with Facebook’s constantly changing mix of setups.
