Flappy Bird Developer Tweets About Game’s Return

Flappy Bird Returning

Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen wants everyone to know that his mobile game will eventually return to the Apple App Store. Unfortunately, he gives no insight into when that return will occur.

Twitter user @Painfullpacman sent out the following Tweet:

In response to that message Nguyen wrote:

Before it was pulled from the App Store, Flappy Bird was one of the top downloaded mobile games for iOS devices.

Following his decision, Nguyen received death threats from crazed fans of the popular game.

This isn’t the first time Nguyen has said a new version of Flappy Bird was in the works. During a Rolling Stone interview in early March he made the same claim.

At this time, we don’t know if the game will keep the same name or be reborn as something completely different.

With millions of dollars up for grabs, we had a feeling that Flappy Bird wouldn’t remain in the dark forever.

Nguyen previously stated that he didn’t want the sudden attention he was receiving from millions of fans, but he never said anything about not wanting the money that came with that attention.

Are you eagerly awaiting the return of Flappy Bird?
