Beloved ‘Family Guy’ character Brian Griffin has been resurrected from the dead. The popular cartoon dog was welcomed back from the dead in a tweet sent by show creator Seth MacFarlane who wrote:
I mean, you didn’t really think we’d kill off Brian, did you? Jesus, we’d have to be fucking high.

That tweet and the decision to return Brian Griffin was obviously the right move as 42,181 people retweeted the good news and the message also received 29,895 favorites.
The new Christmas episode titled, “Jesus, we’d have to be f**king high,” was a correction to the death of Brian Griffin, who was run over by a car three weeks ago and then replaced by a new pet named Vinnie.
When Brian Griffin was killed off fans took to Twitter, Facebook, and other social networks en masse to voice their hatred for the move.
At the time the decision seemed calculated as executive producer Steve Callaghan told fans, “As much as we love Brian, and as much as everyone loves their pets, we felt it would be more traumatic to lose one of the kids, rather than the family pet.”
Seth McFarlane continued to welcome back his shows popular character:
And thus endeth our warm, fuzzy holiday lesson: Never take those you love for granted, for they can be gone in a flash.
