Facebook Has 64 Million Users In Indonesia But Not A Single Office Space


Facebook Indonesia has no Office

Facebook is growing in Indonesia where the social network currently has 64 million monthly active users. Yet despite Facebook’s growing user base in the country the social network has yet to open a single office.

Despite being one of the top five countries for Facebook users Mark Zuckerberg and his team of executives are not believed to be considering an Indonesian based Facebook officer.

Dan Neary, Facebook VP for Asia-Pacific revealed at the IDByte conference that Indonesia is a key country that will help Facebook reach the next billion in its user base. According to Charlene Chian, Facebook’s head of communications for Asia-Pacific”

According to Chian:

“No, we currently have no plans to set up an office in Indonesia.”
