Never underestimate the power of an eagle. A photo of an eagle attacking a deer went viral today because, well, it’s an amazing image.

Researchers and eagle enthusiasts have known for a long time that the Golden Eagle can take down some large animals but it isn’t something that is witnessed often. Linda Kerley of the Zoological Society of London and Jonathan Slaght of the Wildlife Conservation Society said that they’ve never seen something this amazing in their 11 years of research.
In an article for the Journal of Raptor Research, the authors write: “In 11 [years] of our investigations of ungulate kills in the southern Russian Far East, this is the first time we observed evidence of a Golden Eagle killing any deer species, despite locating hundreds of carcasses during that time and assessing cause of death.”
A video of an eagle also went viral this week. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t include any footage of the eagle attacking a deer.
Benjamin Franklin chose the Bald Eagle as America's symbol because he saw that it was the only animal that can steal food from a grizzly bear. It digs its talons into the the bear's back and the bear can't reach the eagle with its stubby arms, so it runs away. Today, America's symbol should be a leach, because that is what Obama and his liberal supporters are fundamentally transforming it into-a parasite.
