Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are getting married.

The Miami Heat star proposed to his girlfriend of nearly five years over the weekend. Union, who said yes, shared the happy news with an Instagram photo.

The actress writes: “Sooooo this happened… #Yessss.”

Union didn’t share any details about the proposal or the engagement ring but Wade reposted a photo from his jeweler. The NBA player apparently got his ring from Jason of Beverly Hills Provider of Diamond Luxuries.

It isn’t surprising that Wade and Union decided to make their engagement announcement on Instagram. The couple frequently uses the social media site to share romantic photos.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union haven’t announced any wedding plans yet but they’ll probably end up getting hitched sometime after the playoffs.
