David Wenham is an Australian actor born on September 21, 1965. He is best known for his roles in the movies 300: Rise of an Empire, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and SeaChange.

He was born in the Australian city of Marrickville, in the state of New South Wales. Bill Wenham and Kate Agnew are his parents. His parents have seven children, and he is the youngest of them. He has a brother and five sisters. He went to Lewisham Christian Brothers High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Sydney’s Theatre Nepean in 1987 and then went into the acting industry.
His film debut in 1992 was Greenkeeping, depicting Trevor and in the same year, he took on another project, Seeing Red as Frank by Virginia Rouse. He has been dating Kate Agnew for a very long time. And the couple has two daughters named Eliza Jane and Millie.
