Creed Singer Scott Stapp: I’m Broke And Homeless

Scott Stapp isn’t doing too well. The former frontman of the band Creed recently posted a video to his Facebook page to tell his fans that he is now broke and homeless.

Stapp said: “Right now I’m living in a Holiday Inn, by the grace of God, because there’s been a couple of weeks I had to live in my truck. I had no money, not even for gas or food. I went two days without eating because I had no money and ended up in an emergency room.”

Stapp claims that someone is after him and stealing all of his money. The singer said that a recent audit revealed that he isn’t receiving some royalty money from his work with Creed and that someone has been taking money from his account.

Stapp said: “Right now, I’m under a pretty vicious attack …  There are people that have taken advantage and stolen money from me and they’re trying to discredit me, slander me.”

The Creed singer has dealt with alcohol abuse in the past but he claims that he is now “as sober as can be.” Stapp said that the rumors of him being a drug addict are absolute “lies.”
