Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin is playing under a six-year, $36 million contract and he’s spending that hard-earned cash on bus fare.
Despite being only 27-years-old, Barwin has a great head on his shoulders, and doesn’t throw his money away on frivolous sports cars and other lavish rides. In fact, during his time with the Texans the Pro-Bowl caliber linebacker drove a Toyota Prius to games and practices.
Here’s a tweet that Connor Barwin recently sent during his travels:
Thanks for the ride to work @septa_social #bus17 pic.twitter.com/K00TUJc8KE

Barwin doesn’t just take advantage of the Philadelphia bus system, he also chats it up with the Septa bus line on Twitter.
@ConnorBarwin98 Thanks for riding Connor! Oh, and thanks for the timely sack Sunday! 🙂 ^JS

When he isn’t running around town on the bus he loves to chat about bicycle riding:
It’s free too RT@fcoxx_91: Not everybody can valet they bike on the curb like @ConnorBarwin98 #bikelife pic.twitter.com/YthoQY0qpf

Barwin loves to discover city landscapes while traveling and is often seen exploring the city of Philadelphia. It looks like his dad’s “city planner” genes rubbed off on him.
Connor Barwin does own a supercar, an electric-powered Tesla.
