Connie Nielsen (born 3 July 1965) is an Actress from Denmark. She is famous for work on Wonder Woman, The Devil’s Advocate, Gladiator, Mission to Mars, etc.

Her first major role in an English movie was in The Devil’s Advocate, and she later received international recognition in Gladiator for her performance.

She has appeared in movies such as Mission to Mars, One Hour Video, Simple, The Hunted, The Ice Harvest, and Nymphomaniac over the last decade. She appeared on Starz TV show, Boss, as “Meredith Kane” and was the main character in The Following’s second season. Nielsen was born in Frederikshavn in 1965 and was raised in a village called Elling, Denmark.

She grew up as a Mormon and started her acting career in the local revue and variety scene along with her parents. At 18, she went to Paris and worked as a guide, contributing to further research and study in Italy.

Since moving to the United States, she had been living in Italy for several years. From 2004 until 2012 she was married to the drummer Metallica, Lars Ulrich, and Bryce Thadeus Ulrich-Nielsen, who were two children together.

Sebastian Sartor, who is a hip-hop rapper, is another son from a previous relationship. The languages of Nielsen are eight: Danish, English, German, French, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish, and only a few Spanish languages.

Nielsen, who was brought up in Copenhagen, was educated as a musician, dancer, and actress. She began performing in local shows at the age of 15, and when she was 18 she went to Paris to earnestly follow her profession.

Finally, after stinting in Italy and South Africa, the multi-lingual Nielsen landed in New York and made her debut in English as a terrorized traveler at the Voyage (1993) made-for-television thriller.
