CES 2014 takes place January 7 to 10 in Las Vegas, and is one of the world’s largest electronics trade shows with attendance of over 150,000 in 2013.
In 2014, CES will have a Social Media Command Center on full display where social media conversations happening around the trade show will appear.
Attendees will be able to interact with it by way of a large touchscreen, and view specific topics or conversations.
Located in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center, you will also be able to share conversations from the Command Center.
From Darrell Jursa, SVP Partner of Global Emerging Media Technology at FleishmanHillard:
“With such an enormous amount of information generated before, during and after the 2014 International CES, it can be difficult to sift out the most relevant – and actionable – content and conversations. By essentially making big data small, the Social Media Command Center, powered by FleishmanHillard black box, aims to change the way both attendees and non-attendees experience the energy, excitement and innovation of the 2014 CES.”
There will also be a Social Media Vending Machine located nearby in the Experience CEA display.
To get a free CES t-shirt, attendees simply have to tweet using the hashtag #CES2014, and mention the Twitter handle @IntlCES.
Networking is a big part of any event, and from 4 to 6 PM on January 9, CES will host its “Social Hour” networking event at the V Bar in The Venetian.
Some of us here at Social News Daily will be at CES 2014, so if you see any of us, make sure to say hey.
