The actress and producer Brooke Lewis Bellas is best known for her roles in iMurders, Sinatra Club, Kinky Killers, and Ms. Vampy, which is her comedic mobster Vampire “alter ego” (Hyvio). There was a time when she lived in Philadelphia. Then she moved to New York City, where she got her first “break” as Donna Marsala in the Off-Broadway show Tony and Tina’s Wedding. In 2002, she moved to Hollywood and started Philly Chick Pictures, which was a film company. In 2007, she played Dr. Grace Sario on SHOWTIME’s Kinky Killers. Early Life and Education –
Grew up in New Jersey and Philadelphia. She used to go to the Jersey Shore every summer. When she was two years old, her parents split up. She was going to law school, but she changed her mind and moved to New York City to become an actress. She never looked back.
Career –
- Beginning her career in regional and musical theater in Philadelphia and New Jersey, she eventually signed with Tazmania Records/Metropolitan Records and released the freestyle song “Get Me Off Your Mind.”
- She relocated to New York City and gained success Off-Broadway with her depiction of Berdine in Psycho Beach Party, a Charles Busch comedy, garnering acclaim in multiple newspaper pieces.
