Arian Foster Back On His Twitter Game

Arian Foster’s long Twitter hiatus is over. Last night, the running back who spent much of 2013 fighting injury, made a triumphant return to social media.

Last March Arian Foster bid adieu to his tweeting habit waving good bye to
the digital realm. During his return last night Foster tweeted that he already understood why he left in the first place.

Twitter hasn’t always been friendly to Arian Foster. He drew the ire of the Houston Texans GM when he uploaded a twitpic of his hamstring MRI.

Fantasy owners asking Foster about his health on Twitter were once labeled “sick” by the former Tennessee Volunteer. Explaining the comment to football writers in 2011 Foster said,

“My tweet, the fact that we’re talking about Twitter is amazing to me, but my tweet got taken out of context. What I was saying is that people who value a digital game over a human being’s health is just kind of weird to me.”

Judging by the response to his return last night, the twittersphere missed Foster. During a tweeting splurge, Foster entertained the basics during a typical twitter fan-chat.

Arian’s favorite rapper? Pac. Favorite team to play against? Denver. His pick to win March Madness? Arian doesn’t support the NCAA.

Arian Foster, if you recall, was called a prostitute by ESPN broadcaster Dick Vitale after admitting he accepted illegal benefits while playing football at the University of Tennessee.

Dicky V later apologized for the tweet.

There was ultimately some football value in Arian Foster’s return to Twitter. He declared himself fit for the 2014 NFL season.

There you have it sick Arian Foster owners! No need to worry!
