Arby’s Gets Its Hat Back From Pharrell, $44,000 Goes To Charity

Pharrell

Pharrell Williams was the butt of many jokes during the Grammys thanks to his comically large brown hat that looked to be inspired by Smokey Bear.

The hat also resembled Arby’s classic logo, and prompted the following tweet:

On February 20, Pharrell put the hat up for auction to benefit the charity From One Hand To Another.

Based out of Los Angeles, here’s its mission:

“Change the world one kid at a time by giving them the tools and resources to meet their unique potential and empower them to nurture curosity by learning through new technologies, arts, media and motivation!”

The auction ended March 2 with a high bid of $44,100. Pharrell tweeted out thanks to the winning bidder, and that person just so happened to be Arby’s:

Arby’s finally got its hat back, and the money went to a great cause. “Well done” indeed.
