CBS is preparing to make a reboot of the hit TV series Charmed and at least one series star from the original run thinks it is still too soon.
“Charmed One” Alyssa Milano took to Twitter on Friday to question the decision to reboot Charmed.
In her tweet she writes:
The thing about them doing a #charmed reboot is… it just… it feels like yesterday. It feels too close.

It turns out that fans of the original show and fans of original programming are also not happy with CBS’ decision to reboot the charmed TV series.
Thank God CBS is working on a ‘Charmed’ reboot. Clearly there are not enough TV shows involving witches right now. #ThinkingOutsideTheBox — Dalton Ross (@DaltonRoss) October 25, 2013
Because you know what brand name has MAD equity amongst CBS’ core demo? “Charmed.” Totes. — Daniel Fienberg (@HitFixDaniel) October 25, 2013
Some fans of the original are ready for the reboot:
Watching #Charmed and wishing it had new episodes. #CharmedReboot

I feel like there is more hate for the #Charmed reboot then #Batfleck. You people call yourselves fans? It might actually be good…relax.

Charmed finished its run in 2006 but a quick #Charmed search on Twitter shows that people are still binge watching the former popular series. Perhaps a reboot could bring in an audience in the age of Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, and countless other similar themed thrillers.
Are you ready for a Charmed reboot?
