Three AI characters, the same 20 questions, and a standardized quality assessment: We compared Character.AI, Chai AI, and Aorio AI by evaluating their responses in a roleplay scenario. The Three AI Platforms Tested
For this comparison, we selected three AI characters with different personalities:
- Aorio AI – Silar, a pragmatic and power-conscious queen.
- Character.AI – Anastasia, a possessive yandere queen.
- Chai AI – Dania, an ancient elven queen with a stern personality and moments of emotional vulnerability.
All three characters received the same sequence of 20 questions and conversational prompts. Their responses were evaluated using 17 quality criteria, with a maximum of 10 points per criterion and a total possible score of 170 points.
