Donald Trump may be a cocky businessman running for president, but did he once tried his hand in films? Thanks to our friends over at Funny or Die, we have discovered a piece of forgotten history (or at least what we would of thought it was like). According to Funny or Die, back in 1988, Trump thought it would be a good idea to write, direct and star in his very own movie. “The Art of The Deal” was a made-for-TV movie based on his best-selling book. The story goes that the night it ws set to air, Monday Night Football ran too long, so the film was cut. Upset by the decision not to air the film, Trump pulled the movie and hid it away for years… until now.

Featuring Johnny Depp (as Trump), Alfred Molina, Stephen Merchant, Patton Oswalt, Jack McBrayer, Andy Richter, Michaela Watkins, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel and even Alf, the film is hilariously ridiculously. Yes, we know it isn’t real, but it is hilarious.

OK, so it’s not a real Donald production. But hey, even the New York Times gave it a good recommendation…
