Gizmo, the chihuahua, was hanging in Becca Hill’s backyard, when she claims a seagull swooped down and snatched the pooch with its beak and flew off.

Fowl can often be total nightmares to deal with. Whether you’re strolling through the park, just spending quality time outdoors or attempting to enjoy yourself at the beach, birds can spoil your day nearly instantaneously. Speaking to the local press, the 24-year-old stated she and her partner are ravaged: “It carried Gizmo a fair way as we couldn’t see him anymore. I have no idea if he was dropped or where he is now.” Becca on social media has published an appeal, hoping any person will have info about where her darling pet is. “Please, please, please, anyone finds a chihuahua he’s mine, a seagull took him from my garden,” she begged on Facebook. Have a really upset 6 year old missing her dog.”
Now, if you’re reading this and abruptly concerned about your pet’s safety outdoors then please be leery, this is not an ordinary thing from these beach-hopping birds. The RSPCA has informed local news: “Our hearts go out to Gizmo’s family and we hope he is found soon and is OK. This must be extremely upsetting for the dog’s owner. Fortunately these types of incidents are very rare and not typical gull behavior.” In 2015 evidently a seagull attacked a Jack Russell in the Port of Dover, before the fowl tried to take flight with the hound and failed.
