Carling has made the magnanimous move of launching interwoven glasses that make the four pint transit far less problematic.
It can be a bit of a nuisance carrying four pints back to your table without an episode. Do you leave two beers at the bar, leaving them susceptible to spiking or downing? Or do you request one of those little black trays that make you look like a pillock? Well no worries, because Carling’s crafty new design integrates vertical grooves which niche in to one another when held together, deterring the glasses from slipping around in your palms. Towards the middle they are narrower also, which makes it simpler for you to get a nice grip of them. The lettering even assists with carrying, with its engraved print augmenting grip. And as if all these ferrying features weren’t enough, the glasses come too with a nucleated bottom, which aids in keeping pints fresh.
The glasses will be spread across the country at designated pubs in time for the bank holiday weekend. Brand Director at Carling, Miranda Osborne, stated she hoped the convenient carry glasses would make journeys from the bar far more comfortable. She noted: “Our aim was to create the perfect glass for the perfect pint, whilst responding to the needs of our customers. We know our customers can feel uncomfortable leaving drinks on the bar because they can’t carry them all, so we wanted to design something that could help alleviate this problem. This is why we created our new easy carry glasses. We hope people find getting pints in for friends a far more comfortable experience now.”
