New Evidence Suggests That Missing Flight MH370 “Secretly Landed and Took Off Again”

Is This What Really Happened to Missing Flight MH370?

We all love a good conspiracy theory, and ones regarding Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 are plentiful.

Author and investigator Jeff Wise is the man behind several of them, which he details in his book The Plane That Wasn’t There.

It was Wise who reported that the SATCOM onboard the doomed flight turned back on, 40 minutes after the plane went dark.

And now he’s come forward with an even more controversial theory – that MH370 secretly landed and then took off again some time after the Boeing 777 went rogue.

Wise said: “The big unknown was what happened between 6.28pm when the satcom was turned on and 7.41pm.

“Had the plane made a single turn or flown around in circles, or perhaps even landed somewhere and then taken off again?”

He also previously said: “Looking at the fine print of the Inmarsat data log, we saw that in fact the system had been turned off and then back on again.

“At 18:03, 42 minutes after the plane disappeared from air traffic control, radar the satellite tried to put through a text message. MH370’s satcom hadn’t responded.

“Then 22 minutes later at 18:25 MH370 initiated a log-on with Inmarsat. It was coming back online.”

New York City native Wise believes the SATCOM coming back to life shows that the plane wasn’t damaged in an electrical storm, as previously theorised.

“Another detail of the Inmarsat data seemed a curiosity at first but in time would be recognised as having great significance,” Wise explained.

If the plane did make an unplanned stop, the most likely areas include nearby Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia or Vietnam. And if researchers could uncover where MH370 took off for a second time, it would be a big step in uncovering the plane’s final resting place.
