Sometimes you can tell when a marriage will not last long or will end up in flames due to one detail which the couple wants on their wedding. After all, weddings bring out the best and the worst in people, often not mutually exclusive. So when a bride wanted her guests to follow a $1,000 dress code based on weight, the internet had a field day.

Yep, this is your usual case of bridezilla outrageousness and obtuseness. Apparently, weddings are now a free pass to throw reason and financial capacity out the window. The said bridezilla was anonymous, of course, but people posted her message to her guests on Reddit and you can see for yourself what is required of guests:

So, her wedding is pretty much Hogwarts but with people categorized based on weight and dress code instead of their personalities. Who could miss that last note where the guests also have to fork out at least $1,000 to uh… fit in? Must be a Kardashian. Goodness knows what will happen to guests who wear sub-$1,000 clothing, or how will reception even check the price?

The bridezilla did find out that the internet was ridiculing her ridiculous wedding demands. So she came up with a plan to catch the “snitch.”

That’s right, she was going to do a lie detector test for her wedding guests. She even called it a “party.” Anyone who doesn’t come to the “party,” will be considered guilty… She might as well do the wedding in court with a judge and a jury.
