The Rio Olympics athletes have been nothing short but amazing and diverse — not to mention given us feelings. They’ve shown extraordinary strength, courage, and fortitude. They’ve also gotten us thirsty AF.
Now, how about someone adorkable? Because really Fu Yuanhui is the rare gem the internet needs.
Fu Yanhui is one of the shining members of China’s swim team, and her candor and sincerity in expression has us falling in love. Here’s a video of a quick Olympic coverage video as she’s interviewed right after the Women’s 100m Backstroke, and didn’t even realized she’d won. She’s something of a walking adorkable sweetheart we can’t get enough of, and it’s really easy to see why.
See? See? How can you not love a face like that?
She may not have won a gold medal, but her enthusiasm for the moment is unparalleled.
And here she is again with her team at the 2015 FINA World Championships.
These precious adorkable moments was more than enough for Twitter to take notice.
