The 2016 Summer Olympics are underway in Rio and we are loving every minute of fun. Despite all of the social media-worthy moments that have happened the past few days, you might of noticed that there haven’t been any hilarious GIFs flooding your feed. That’s because of the International Olympic Committee creating strict restrictions on how the games are portrayed on social media. However, the Internet has found a way to have some fun without GIFs. Thanks to the popular weekly top trending hashtag game, @HashtagJones1, Twitter users created the trending #OlympicProblemsIn5Words. The perfect way to capture those hilarious moments without getting blacklisted by the committee.

The well-oiled Tonganese man fueled a social media fire storm.

Then, there were those that questioned why certain events weren’t included. You know, baseball. Or what about zombie hunting…

As with any major event, #OlympicProblemsIn5Words led to jabs at certain hot button issues and current events, like a certain presidential candidate.

Or gun control.

Then, there were the real issues. Like, where are all the adorable animals at?

Good thing one American channel thought of that. Make sure to check out the Kitten Summer Games.

We have been following every minute of the Olympic action and we want to know what your favorite Rio 2016 moment has been. Have you been following all of the Olympic fun?
